The Wonders of the World Geocaching Challenge began in 2020: The Ancient and Modern Wonders are part of an amazing journey through cultures and civilizations from long ago, showcasing amazing feats of construction.
They’re generally awarded for caching in a particular location, on a particular date, or during one of geocaching souvenir challenges like Wonders of the World. Geocaching Souvenirs are virtual pieces of art that can be collected and displayed on your profile. Find all seven of the Solar System Wonders to earn the Solar System Wonders of the World souvenir, which earns you the Ultimate Explorer souvenir for filling all of the pages of your passport. The Natural Wonders of the World souvenir requires finding all seven Natural Wonders. The third souvenir, World Explorer, will be awarded when you have completed the prior two steps. The second souvenir, Ancient Wonders of the World, requires finding seven Ancient Wonders of the World. The first souvenir, Modern Wonders of the World, requires finding all seven Modern Wonders.
